| The
interactive museum
of news in Arlington
closed it's doors on March 3.
The museum closing signals the next stage of the organization’s plan
to relocate the Newseum and the Freedom Forum’s headquarters to
Washington, D.C., in 2006. Continuing to be open next to the museum
location is
the 1.6 acre Freedom Park which displays items such as a
portion of the Berlin Wall and The Freedom Forum
Journalists Memorial
which is dedicated to the over 1000
journalists who have died while covering the news. |
